Workshop: Día de los Muertos Art with Steph FRX

Participants of all ages are invited to celebrate the Mexican tradition of Día de los Muertos in this free, family-friendly workshop. Local artist Steph FRX will share what goes on a traditional ofrenda (altar) and why, then offer instruction on creating an assortment of traditional crafts to honor life and memory. Steph will teach participants how to stamp a calaverita card to add to the community altar in the Park Circle Community Building or take home, how to cut papel picado, and how to craft a paper flower. All materials provided.
